Supervision and training

Daniella is passionate about providing supportive, high quality, evidence-based supervision to psychologists (at any stage of career) and training and professional development in psychological practice and mental health for psychologists and other practitioners.

Daniella strives to create spaces to nurture self-reflection, learning and professional development for clinicians. She takes the same person-centred, trauma-informed, ethical approach to supervision and training, including collaboratively adapting learning spaces to suit the needs of the attendee(s).

Principles guiding supervision

Trauma-informed care

True guidance by knowledge of the impact of trauma and complex trauma for clients and practitioners, including the pervasive impacts of trauma for the client, and for the therapeutic relationship.

Evidence-based ethical practice

Bringing together scientific evidence with a person-centered approach to care, including the exploration of ethical dilemmas to support a professional and ethical approach to practice.

Focus on reflective practice

A critical component of supervision includes space to observe and reflect on one’s own practice to support
ongoing personal and professional learning and development.

Person-centred approach

Supervision is tailored to group needs to support attendees’ level(s) of training and experience, as well as any differences in learning, information processing, and
professional development requirements.
